Scanstrut DS40 Vertical Cable Seal | Waterproof Marine Cable Gland
The DS40 Vertical Cable Seal is the Scanstrut's largest IP68 vertical entry cable gland designed to provide a secure, watertight cable entry for 12–15 mm (0.47–0.59") cables and connectors up to 40 mm (1.57") in diameter. Ideal for solar panel installations, radar systems, antennas, lighting, and other rooftop electronics, this durable vertical cable seal features a low-profile, impact-resistant dome design that offers enhanced protection against water ingress.
Compatible with many 6 AWG wire gauge, depending on their overall jacket diameter.
Multi-Functional Dome Shape
The aesthetic dome-shaped profile provides a stronger, impact-resistant, and additional water shield.
Watertight Installation
The tapered bung is supplied with a closed base seal, to form a watertight seal, ensuring an IP68-rated watertight seal.
Easy and Reliable Installation
Captive nuts make for easy assembly and also allow reliable repeat installations. Each unit is supplied with both pre-drilled and blank inner seals to make your installation as easy as possible.
Split Bungs
The split-seal option makes installation even easier, as it does not require connectors up to Ø40mm (1.57") to be removed during installation.
