155 Watt Shade-Tolerant Flexible Solar Panel – SunPower A+ Grade 24.4% Efficiency

Harness maximum solar power even in challenging conditions with the 155W Shade-Tolerant Flexible Solar Panel. Built with SunPower A+ grade Maxeon cells (24.4% efficiency), this premium panel delivers industry-leading performance in both full sun and partial shade—making it perfect for sailboats, yachts, RVs, camper vans, and off-grid systems.

Unlike traditional panels, this innovative design is split into four independent quadrants. If one quadrant is shaded by a boom, mast, or obstruction, the other three continue producing full power — ensuring you never lose energy output due to partial shading. Video on them Here.

Crafted with durability and flexibility in mind, this semi-flexible solar panel is ideal for canvas biminis, dodgers, and curved surfaces. For maximum longevity, mount between support bars (not over them) to prevent stress on the cells.

✅ Includes mounting grommets, MC4 connectors, and blocking diodes for quick, secure setup.
📦 Ships Next Day UPS Ground from Denver or Michigan.

Key Features

🔋 High Output – 155W Power with industry-best 24.4% efficient SunPower A+ grade Maxeon cells.
🌞 Shade-Tolerant Design – Four independent power quadrants keep energy flowing even when partially shaded.
🛡️ Marine-Ready Durability – Flexible, lightweight, and designed for biminis, dodgers, and curved mounting surfaces.
⚙️ Easy Installation – Includes mounting grommets, blocking diodes (silicone protected), and 3 ft. pigtails with MC4 connectors.
🌊 Secure Mounting Options – Works with bolt kits (recommended) or strong magnet kits (wind-tested to 55 knots). Video on them Here.
🔌 System Ready – Pair with a solar controller and solar wire with MC4s pre-attached for a complete off-grid setup.
🚤 Upgraded Junction Box Placement – Note: originally we had the junction box in the middle, we have moved it to the end for easier wiring and have kept the panel separated into four sections, each of which produces power independently of the other sections.

Whether you’re sailing offshore, camping off-grid, or powering your van life adventures, the 155W Shade-Tolerant Flexible Solar Panel offers unmatched reliability, efficiency, and adaptability. Get the most power per square inch—no matter where your journey takes you.

🎥 Shade-Tolerant Solar Technology Explained

Learn how CMP’s shade-tolerant wiring design keeps power flowing even when parts of the panel are shaded. This advanced technology ensures reliable solar performance for boats, vans, and off-grid systems, making it ideal for real-world marine conditions where shadows are unavoidable.

Our New 4 Quadrant Design

The diagram along side illustrates how these amazing panels work. Instead of the normal 2 quadrant design we use a new split cell design allowing the panel to have four quadrants of solar cells linked in series and isolated with inner panel blocking diodes. If one or two quadrants are shaded, the other quadrants perform at normal output. This can increase shaded panel output by 3 times that of a standard shaded panel.
