These controllers can be programmed using the MPPT Control meter, a Windows 10 PC with an optional USB cable, or through Bluetooth with a smartphone or tablet via a free downloadable app. This app is also used to monitor the performance of your solar system and is available for both Apple and Android devices.

A comprehensive solar controller system includes a SmartSolar controller, an MPPT Control meter, and a VE.Direct cable. For battery banks utilizing lead-acid or AGM technology, and solar arrays exceeding 200 watts, we recommend the Smart Battery Sense temperature sensor for optimal performance.
